What Words Have Been Hiding From You for Centuries
Centre EPÉU · Château de Villereglan · Published on 12 October 2026
Every day you use words whose depth you do not suspect. Two of them, if you look at them closely, change what you think you know about yourself.
Intuition
The word comes from Latin: in, towards the inside, and tueri, to look. Intuition is “looking towards the inside”.
But what is there, inside? Take stock. What you touch, what you see, what you can weigh is outside: your body, objects, the world. Energy, on the other hand, is always inside: your emotions, your vitality, your consciousness. No microscope finds it, no scale weighs it. Yet it is there. Look at fig. 1.
“Towards the inside” therefore does not designate a place in your body. It designates energy: the invisible field that precedes matter and passes through it. That is where the information is.
You are not the source
The word hides another trap. It suggests that the information comes from you, that you make it. That is not what happens.
You are not the source. You are the receiver (fig. 2). The information you pick up in an intuition is not created by your brain. It already exists, beyond time and space. Your nervous system, if you let it, knows how to pick it up.
Looking towards the inside is not the destination. It is the way in.
A single intuition is enough
If you have had a single intuition in your life, you have a proof. Not a belief, not a coincidence: the proof that your system already knows how to connect to the inside, and therefore to everything, even without your control.
You did not decide it. You did not look for it. It came. The connection therefore already exists in you. It does not have to be built. It has to be found again.
One question remains. Does this connection come by accident, now and then, when you control nothing? Or do you learn to reach it when you want to? It is the difference between catching a radio station by chance and knowing how to tune your receiver. It is not a gift. It is a practice.
Foreboding
Fore, before. Boding, sensing. Foreboding is “sensing before”. Before the event happens, people say.
This definition contains a mistake about time. It assumes that the event does not exist yet, and that you pick it up in advance. Yet everything is already there.
The event you sense already exists, in a field of information that knows neither past nor future. Your brain can only read it piece by piece (fig. 3). Foreboding is the moment when it receives one of those pieces.
It is not you who senses before. It is you who at last reaches what was already there.
Why you no longer use it
Because you were taught to trust only what your mind can check, analyse and justify. Our civilisation has built everything on matter: what can be seen, measured, touched. Little by little it has forgotten energy: what is felt, picked up, received.
The result: you have an extraordinary receiving antenna, and you spend your life cutting off the signal. Like a phone in airplane mode.
What this changes for you
The next time a piece of information comes to you without your being able to explain it, ask yourself two questions. Am I creating this information, or am I receiving it? Am I looking for the answer outside, in matter, or am I trusting what I pick up inside, in energy?
The connection is there. It always has been. You have already had the proof, probably several times, without naming it.
It is no longer a matter of believing. It is a matter of learning to tune the receiver. That is what one learns at the Initiation to Psychism.
Try it yourself
The Centre has opened two exercises for this, online. They are open to all, and each shows you your result straight away.
The colours: four colours. The server draws a colour and seals it before your choice. You choose, then the colour is revealed, and you can check that nothing moved. Chance gives one success in four. Your logbook keeps every series and draws your curve.
The midday point: this is foreboding put to the test. Each day at twelve twelve, a point is placed at random in a square. Before noon, you designate the place where you sense it. At twelve twelve, you see your point beside the drawn point, and what the group did.
The overall result will be published as it is, at the number of attempts announced in the protocol.
“Information does not arrive. It was there. You are simply learning to read it.”
