The PPA

To situate this phenomenon in an observable way, I use the term PPA — Person with Heightened Perception. It is the notion of perceptibility, as I introduced and developed it in my writings, brought back to what can be situated and observed: a flow that exceeds the ordinary rate, whether that perception is still endured or already mastered.

The definition is deliberately broad on this last point, and that is essential. PPA designates neither a state of success nor a state of suffering: the term covers the exhausted sentinel as well as the structured perceptive person, because both receive the same river. What distinguishes them is not the quantity received — it is the mastery of the processing. A PPA is therefore not a label to wear: it is a starting position, from which the useful question can at last be asked. Not “am I hypersensitive?”, but: where does my processing stand?

There remains the question of the means. How does one reach reactions that, precisely, escape voluntary control?

It is here that these years in the field authorise me a finding: the clearest improvements I have observed in PPAs have come from directed suggestion in the hypnotic state. The reason is structural. The sentinel’s reactions — the emergency sorting, the fixation, the inner rule — are not choices: they are automatisms installed in the unconscious, and an unconscious automatism does not let itself be corrected by the conscious level, which has no access to it. The will fails not through weakness, but through a wrong address. Directed suggestion, for its part, works at the level where these reactions are installed: it makes it possible to re-educate them where they live.

The method

Directed Hypnotic Suggestion

Most persistent disorders are seated not in consciousness — where one searches, where one reasons — but in the subconscious, that immense part of the mind which operates outside voluntary control. It does not reason. It executes with blind power.

Settled fears, morbid habits, toxic thoughts that return in spite of oneself are nothing but suggestions accumulated over time in that part of the mind. The conscious will, which operates on only a tiny fraction of the intellect, is powerless to dislodge them. That is why it always comes back.

Directed Hypnotic Suggestion, developed by M. Mischa Harmeijer, addresses these counter-suggestions directly, where they are found. Through the induction of a state of deep receptivity, the operator reaches the subject’s subconscious and projects into it suggestions formulated according to the precise laws of practical psychics: direct affirmation, imperative mode, methodical repetition.

The objective is twofold: to neutralise the counter-suggestions that maintain the disorder, and to implant the conditions of restored harmony, which the subconscious will carry out by itself with its own power. This is not stage hypnosis. This is not guided relaxation. It is direct work on the real cause of the disorder.

The session

This is not modern stage hypnosis, and it has nothing in common with it. The state in which the suggestion works may be close to sleep or fully awake; it proceeds from another technique, a deeper one. No one comes here to be “hypnotised” in the manner of modern sessions or shows.

Before the session

This approach is exclusively complementary to any ongoing medical care. It in no way substitutes for a diagnosis, a medical treatment or a therapeutic follow-up. If the subject is currently in therapy or under the supervision of a psychiatrist, the written consent of the practitioner following him is required. If the subject is taking antidepressants or any medication with neurological action, the work cannot be undertaken.

On the day of the appointment: no stimulants (coffee, strong tea), no alcohol, no drugs.

In the event of suicidal thoughts or immediate risk, this session is not suitable — call 15 or 3114 immediately.
