Becoming a practitioner is not a title. It’s a verified responsibility. This path is not for everyone — the conditions below are demanding, and deliberately so.

The path
The Centre EPÉU does not train therapists. It trains practitioners — individuals capable of transmitting a structured understanding of human mental functioning, with rigour, authority and discernment.
This path demands a level of personal, intellectual and physical preparation that goes far beyond the scope of an ordinary professional training. The conditions that follow are neither symbolic nor aspirational. They are verified.
Skills and discernment
The candidate must be professionally active and have their own practice. They must possess a real familiarity with the human mind — not theoretical, but born of observation and direct experience.
They must be able to draw a clear distinction between mediumship and mental power, and understand perceptibility as a structured function of the mind, not as a gift or mystical faculty. They must recognise the existence of the soul as a functional reality, not as a philosophical or religious concept.
The candidate must possess natural authority and the ability to teach. They must respect conventional medicine and never position themselves as a substitute for it.
Foundations integrated, not merely read
The candidate must have read and integrated into their daily life the principles set out in The Kybalion — the fundamental laws of mentalism and universal correspondence.
They must have read and understood L’Échelle de la Réincarnation (Vive l’Au-delà, Tome II) — on the progression of consciousness through successive lives — and be situated within its sixth scale of reincarnation.
Lifestyle and integrity
The Centre EPÉU requires an irreproachable lifestyle.
The candidate must present no addiction — not to cigarettes, nor drugs, nor alcohol, nor sugar, nor medication. They must follow a vegetarian diet. Their mental health must be stable and verifiable.
Any past or present affiliation with a sectarian movement constitutes grounds for definitive refusal.
The Suggestion Course in the hypnotic state and in the waking state
The path to practice necessarily passes through the Suggestion Course in the hypnotic state and in the waking state, taught by Mischa Harmeijer at the Centre EPÉU over three consecutive days.
This training does not train hypnotists, but conductors of the mind. It teaches the mental laws that govern the influence of the mind over the body, the mastery of modified states of consciousness, the mechanisms of conscious suggestion and the faculty of mental direction.
The teaching alternates theory, demonstration and direct experience: observation of the mind, conscious suggestion, and the balance between authority and benevolence. Each participant learns not only to guide a subject, but above all to direct themselves.
Access to this training is itself conditional: the candidate must be personally accepted by Mischa Harmeijer. This acceptance cannot be requested — it results from a direct evaluation. Only participants who have validated the entire course receive the certificate of the Centre d’Enseignement de la Philosophie Éternelle et Universelle.
Directed Hypnotic Suggestion
The practitioner certified by the Centre EPÉU is authorised to practice Directed Hypnotic Suggestion according to the method developed by Mischa Harmeijer — direct work on the subconscious through the induction of a state of deep receptivity, the neutralisation of the counter-suggestions that sustain the disorder, and the implantation of the conditions of recovery.
This is not stage hypnosis. It is not guided relaxation. It is structured work on the real cause of the disorder, founded on the precise laws of practical psychism: direct affirmation, the imperative mode, methodical repetition. The subconscious, which does not reason but executes with blind power, receives suggestions formulated with order, calm and authority.
Certified practitioners work in their own practice, independently, under the methodological supervision of the Centre EPÉU.
This approach is exclusively complementary to any ongoing medical care. It in no way substitutes for a diagnosis, medical treatment or therapeutic follow-up. If the subject is currently in therapy or under the supervision of a psychiatrist, the written consent of that practitioner is required. If the subject is taking antidepressants or any medication with neurological action, the work cannot be undertaken.
A responsibility, not a title
Becoming a practitioner for the Centre EPÉU means accepting a responsibility. That of understanding the mental laws before using them. That of governing oneself before presuming to guide others. For influencing a human being is legitimate only for those who have first influenced themselves — in order, calm and clarity.

Who is this path for?
For professionals already active, with their own practice, and a real familiarity with the human mind — from observation, not theory. It is not a path for everyone.
What are the required readings?
The Kybalion and The Ladder of Reincarnation (Vive l’Au-delà, Volume II), read and integrated, with a positioning in the sixth ladder of reincarnation.
Do I have to take the Suggestion Course?
Yes, compulsorily: the Suggestion Course (3 days), on personal acceptance by Mischa Harmeijer.
What lifestyle conditions apply?
No addiction (cigarette, drugs, alcohol, sugar, medication), a vegetarian diet, stable and verifiable mental health. Any sectarian connection, past or present, is grounds for definitive refusal.
Must I distinguish mediumship from mental power?

Do I receive a certificate?
Yes, after validating the Course — a certificate qualifying you to practise Directed Hypnotic Suggestion. Practitioners work in their own practice, independently, under the Centre’s methodological supervision.
Is it a therapy?
No. The approach is exclusively complementary to ongoing medical care; it is neither a medical act nor psychotherapy. Under antidepressants or any neurologically active medication, the work cannot be undertaken.
